Tea ceremony at White Plains Cherry Blossom Festival

あいにくの雨となりましたが、桜祭りには大勢のお客様がいらっしゃいました。お客様として席に入っていただいた方は熱心に質問してくださいました。また多くの方がデモンストレーションを見物されて写真などを撮っていらっしゃいました。茶の湯を知っていただき地域のお祭りを盛り上げるボランティアの役目は果たせたのではないかと思います。

Unfortunately, the venue was relocated from Turnure Park to Ebersole Ice Rink due to rainy weather. However, we had 15 guests for each demonstration, and a lot of spectators. They all looked very interested in our demonstrations. I believe that we were able to complete our mission of providing opportunities for local people to learn about tea ceremony, contributing to the local community.
